Once everyone gets settled,
please pass out the xylophones and 1 stick (mallet) per student.

Just let them play for a few minutes - as long as you can stand it!

Now ask them to look at the xylophones and ask if they can see the LETTERS on it


Now - have them carefully play ONLY THE LETTER...

"E" (just keep carefully hitting the letter that you ask them to find)

Now the letter "B". ONLY "B".

Now the letter "A". ONLY "A".

Now the letter "F". ONLY "F".

Now the letter "G". ONLY "G".

Now the letter "D". ONLY "D".

Now the letter "C". ONLY "C".

Did anyone notice anything about the letter "C"???
(there are TWO of them!)

Now let them play anything they want on the xylophone
for a few more minutes, then COLLECT THEM.





HOT POTATO
Have the students make a circle on the floor,
give someone the stuffed "bee"
and use the next video to play "hot potato".
